Additional Commissioner, Pfutsero, Japheth Woch has informed that lockdown has been extended and shall continue to remain operative in the Sub-Division till 30 June 2021 with certain relaxations mentioned below with effect from 19thJune 2021:

  1. Movement of vehicles carrying essential commodities/food items and medical supplies including oxygen/oxygen cylinders and other medical equipment.
  2. All healthcare facilities, pharmacies, hospitals, clinics, nursing home, movement of healthcare workers including those for animals healthcare, COVID-19 vaccination, COVID testing and medical emergencies.
  3. Agriculture and allied activities and ongoing construction works will be allowed subject to the contractor/ owner ensuring adherence to COVID-19 appropriate behaviours.
  4. Permitted shops and business establishment shall be allowed to open between 06:00 AM to 2:00 PM and shall be responsible for enforcing strict COVID-19 appropriate behaviour within their own respective shops/ business establishment. List of permitted shops and business establishment permitted to open are vegetable, fish/meat vendors, milk booths, bakeries, local grocery stores including those that sell animal feed shops for public purchase, shop selling hardware items, stationeries, mobile phones and computer accessories, garages for automobile repairing and shops selling vehicle spare parts.
  5. Hotels and lodging shall be allowed to remain open with minimum staff. Further, restaurants shall remain closed for in-house dining. They may however cater through home delivery services. Food delivery, groceries and other e-Commerce services providers are allowed.
  6. All places of mass gathering shall be closed and all social/ Political/ sports/ entertainment/academic/cultural/religious functions and other large congregations barred, except for solemnization of wedding with prior permission of the Block Task Force limit to a maximum of 20 (Twenty) persons. However, prayer meetings and fellowships shall be allowed in religious places with not more than 20 (twenty) persons with strict adherence to COVID-19 appropriate behaviour.
  7. Funeral services limited to not more than 20 (Twenty) persons.
  8. Administrative offices of Schools/Colleges with a core group of officers/staff shall be permitted to attend to urgent and essential matters.
  9. Private business office with a core group of officers/staff shall be permitted to attend to urgent and essential matter with prior permission from District Task Force.
  10. New construction works are permitted with fresh labourers shall be allowed as per provision under revised SOP for returnees and travellers issued vide No.NSDMA-ER-COVID-19/368/2021/5274 dated 29-04-2021.
  11. There shall be a total ban on the movement of individuals/vehicles from 04:00 PM to05:00 AM every day, across the Sub-Division except for reasons/ purpose and for those who are permitted to move as per the existing lockdown measures.
  12. Common Services Centre (CSCs) shall be permitted to open for facilitating the ongoing COVID-19 Vaccination by following strict COVID-19 protocols.
  13. The practice of "NO MASK- NO MOVEMENT" and NO MASK -NO ENTRY" shall be strictly enforced by the Block Task Force.

Any person/group of persons acting in violation of the order shall be deemed to have committed an offence punishable under section 188 of the Indian Penal Code 1860 and under relevant provisions of the Disaster Management Act, 2005.
