CULMINATION PROGRAMME OF FIRST INTER DEPARTMENTAL TOURNAMENT HELD AT LONGLENG  

The Officers Club Longleng organized its first inter-departmental officers’ tournament from 29th November to 1st December 2021 at multipurpose building, Longleng.

The three day sports event culminated on 1st December 2021 with Phakmei, Youth Secretary, PBCA gracing the closing program as special guest. In Badminton men’s double category, the Medical department secured the champion by defeating District Administration. In women's double both 1st and 2nd position were won by officers from Govt. High Secondary School. In carom, DEF was declared champion and Soil and Water conservation department got the runner-up.

On the closing day of the Officers Meet i.e 1st December which coincided with Nagaland Statehood Day, a grand dinner was jointly hosted by DC Longleng and SP Longleng for Officers and well-wishes of the district.

Officers in the district participated in the sports events with utmost enthusiasm and in the process developed solidarity between various departments.
