DC KOHIMA INFORMS ON MASS SOCIAL WORK ON 30th NOVEMBER

In pursuance to the directive of' the Government of Nagaland and in view of the celebration of' Statehood Day on 1st December 2021 and the Hornbill Festival, Deputy Commissioner Kohima Gregory Thejawelie, NCS has informed that a mass social work will be conducted on 30th November 2021 from 6:00 A.M onwards in Kohima district with the involvement of all State government employees, the ward/colony/village functionaries and the general public. 

The circular also stated that all Wards/ colonies/ villages under Kohima district should ensure that their respective Wards/ colonies/ villages are free from any kind of waste/ rubble/muck/foliage overgrowth, etc. 

The public has been informed to remove any kind or construction material/ debris/ waste/ off-road vehicles along the road immediately. Failure to do so by the respective owners shall result in removal of all such materials/vehicles at the expense of the owner.

All Government buildings in Kohima district have been requested to put up decorative lights on them by 30th November 2021. The general public, Churches and business establishments were also requested to ensure beautification and putting up of decorative lights by 30th November 2021.
