DC KOHIMA ISSUES ADDITIONAL LOCKDOWN DIRECTIVES

The Deputy Commissioner and Chairman, DTF Kohima has notified that in supersession to their office Order No.DCK/CON/COVID-19/2020/Pt/WR-206, dated 17 June 2021 and in pursuance to Home Department Order No.NSDMA-ER-COVID19-301/2020 (Part-II/5460, dated 16h June 2021 and in continuation to the office order No.DCK/CON/COVID-19/2020/Pt/WR-125(A) dated 11 June 2021, the existing lockdown measures shall continue to remain in force in Kohima District till 30 June 2021,with the following additional directives as given hereunder:

1. Permitted shops and business establishments shall be allowed to be open on all days from 06:00AM to 02:00 PM. However, Hardware and Electrical shops, shops selling stationeries, mobile phones and computer accessories, garages for automobile repairing and shops selling vehicle spare parts shall be allowed to open only on MONDAY, TUESDAY, THURSDAY ANDFRIDAY from 06:00 AM to 02:00 PM.
2. It is reiterated that the proprietor of permitted category of business establishments/ private establishments will be held responsible for ensuring strict compliance to COVID-19 SOPs within their respective establishments.
3. There shall be a TOTAL BAN on the movement of individuals/vehicles from4:00 PM to 5:00 AM every day from 19th June till 30 June 2021 across the district except for reasons/purposes and for those who are permitted to move as per the existing lockdown measures.
