DC MON INFORMS ON ADDITIONAL DIRECTIVES

In pursuance of the order issued by Home Department dated 9th June 2021 and in continuation of his order dated 12 May 2021, DC and Chairman DTF, Mon, Thavaseelan K, IAS,  issued an order that the existing lockdown measures and directives shall continue to remain in force in Mon till 18th June 2021 with the below mentioned additional directives:

  1. The practice of No Mask- No Movement and No Mask- No Entry will be strictly enforced by all concerned.
  2. Permitted shops and business establishment shall be allowed to open between 6am to 2pm.
  3. Shops selling stationeries, mobile phones and computer accessories, hardware, garage for automobiles and shops selling vehicles spare parts shall be open on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. 
  4. Regular religious service and gathering shall continue to be suspended. However, prayer meetings and fellowships may be allowed in religious places with not more than 20 persons.
  5. Administrative offices of schools/Colleges with a core group of officers /Staff shall be permitted to attend urgent and essential matters.
  6. Private business offices with a core group of officers /Staff may be permitted to attend urgent and essential matters with the prior permission of the DTF.
  7. Common service Centres (CSCs) in the district shall be permitted to open for IT support during Covid-19 vaccination.
  8. New construction works are permitted and fresh labourers shall be allowed as per provision under the revised SOP for returnees and travellers issued vide No.NSDMA-ER-Covid -19 /368 /2021/5274 dated 29th April 2021.
  9. Light Motor Vehicles (LMVs) including taxis shall be allowed to ply on Odd-Even basis.  Drivers of taxis shall need to get negative Covid test report for resumption of service. Bus services, two-wheeler taxi services and pillion riding shall remain suspended.
