DISTRICT WATER AND SANITATION MISSION MEETING CONDUCTED AT KIPHIRE  

The District Water And Sanitation Mission (DWSM) Committees, Kiphire conducted meeting to review various activities under Jal Jeevan Mission (JJM) on 30th November at the DC's Office Conference Hall.

Executive Engineer, PHED, Er. Akokba Sair, while highlighting the JJM Scheme activities, stated that the main target of the project is to provide every rural Household, Schools, Panchayat, Health Centre and Angawati Centre with drinking water supply in adequate quantity of prescribed quality on regular and long-term basis at the affordable service delivery charges leading to improvement in living standards of rural communities.

Akokba, also briefed on JJM Schemes- implemented/ongoing works, Village Action Plan and District Action plan (DAP), Third party verification team activities and implementation Support Agency (ISAs).

Chairing the program DC & Chairman, DSWM, T. Wati Aier said that Kiphire being an Aspirational District many Projects/Schemes are being provided from the Centre in various departments, he urged the members to maintain transparency while implementing the schemes.

The program was attended by DSWM Members from various departments.
