MEDICAL CAMP HELD AT SHINGNYU, MON

Shamator Battalion Assam Rifles under the aegis of HQ IGAR (North) / HQ 7 Sector AR organised a medical camp for Shingnyu Village, Mon District on 6th December 2022.

The camp aimed at providing free check-up, ENT, preliminary diagnosis & regular check-up for aliments like common cold, cough, lower backache and skin diseases etc.

Chief Medical Officer of Shamator Battalion along with a team from Company Operating Base DAN (ITC Dan) made the camp a success. About 115 patients of all ages were treated and some with serious aliments were advised to go Noklak for further diagnosis.  Free medicines along with medical aids were provided to the needy. 

This was the first time that any type Medical Camp has been organised in the area. The initiative of the Assam Rifles was highly appreciated by the proprietors who expressed their gratitude to the Battalion for their kind gesture.
