POWER DEPARTMENT KOHIMA DIVISION INFORMS CONSUMERS AND PUBLIC

The Office of the Executive Engineer, Department of Power, Transmission Division Kohima has informed all concerned that vegetation clearance and maintenance programme of 33kV, 66 kV and 132kV Transmission lines under Kohima Transmission Division has been scheduled from 22nd April 2024 to 20th May 2024 in an effort to avoid unwanted disruption and facilitate stable power supply. In this regard, there will be total shutdown of power from 08:00 A.M to 03:00 P.M daily to facilitate smooth execution of the activity which is unavoidable.

All consumers and public in the affected areas have been requested to extend cooperation and bear the inconvenience during the shutdown period.

The schedule dates, feeder and affected areas are as follows: Date 22nd &23rd April 2024- 33kV Jakhama - affected areas - Southern Angami under Kohima, 24th & 25th April 2024- 33kV KRM-I, 26th &27th April 2024- 33kV KRM-II, 29th April 2024 to 1st May 2024 - 33kV Lalmati & 33kV AP-I - Zubza and Lalmati area, 2nd May 2024 to 4th May 2024 - 33kV Chakhabama - Affected areas - Chakhabama & Chozuba, 6th May 2024 to 20th May 2024 - 33kV Botsa - Northern Angami area under Kohima, 25th April 2024 to 30th April 2024 - 66kV Tuensang- Kiphrie - Affected areas - Phek & Kiphrie Districts and 1st May 2024 to 4th May 2024 - 132kV Kiphrie - Meluri - Affected areas - Phek.
