RELAY RACE COMPETITION CONDUCTED AT NOKLAK

Inter Sector Relay Race competition, organised by District Election Office, Noklak under the theme Clean Electoral Rolls, was held at Noklak on 29th November 2021.

During, the prize distribution ceremony, Deputy Commissioner and District Election Officer Noklak, Hiazu Meru stated that the Election Commission of India is giving much importance for equal participation in the electoral process.

Campaigning on special summary revision, Meru said the event is being organised under Systematic Voters Education and Electoral Participation (SVEEP) to create awareness on clean Electoral Process in the district. He encouraged all eligible persons in the district to enroll in the electoral rolls.

The Deputy Commissioner congratulated all the winners and participants for the successful conduct of the event and appreciated the sector chairmen for taking the initiatives and cooperation towards the election department.

The certificates and cash prize were handed over to the winners by the DC. Leng sector emerged as winner of the Inter Sector Relay Race competition while Danlepdong and Koungao Sectors bagged second and third position respectively.
