RO INFORMS ON NOMINATION UNDER MOKOKCHUNG

The Additional Deputy Commissioner and RO for 30 Alongtaki A/C has informed that nomination papers may be delivered to him or to N Orenthung Kikon, EAC & Assistant Returning Officer at the office of the ADC Mangkolemba between 11:00 AM and 3:00 PM on any day other than public holiday but not later than 7 February 2023.

Meanwhile, SDO (Civil) and Returning Officer for 29 Jangpetkong A/C, Hotolu Sema informed that nomination papers may be delivered to him or to Yanithung N Ngullie, Border Magistrate & Assistant Returning Officer, at the office of the SDO (Civil) Mangkolemba between 11: AM and 3: PM on any day other than public holiday but not later than 7 February 2023,

Forms of nomination paper may be obtained at the above-mentioned office and time. Nomination papers for 29 Jangpetkong A/C will be taken up for scrutiny at SDO (Civil) and RO office chamber, Mangkolemba, and for 30 Alongtaki A/C at ADC & RO Mangkolemba on 8 February from 11:00 AM onwards. 

It was also informed that notice of withdrawal of candidature may be delivered either by a candidate or by any of his proposers or by his election agent, who has been authorized in writing by the candidate, to deliver it to either of the officers specified above at their respective offices before 3: 00 PM on February 10.

It was also informed that in the event of the election being contested, the poll will be taken on February 27 between 7: AM and 4: PM
