TUENSANG 3rd INTER DEPARTMENTAL SPORTS MEET CONCLUDES

A two-day inter departmental sport meet of Tuensang district concluded on 26th November 2021 with President United Tribes of Elderly Leaders Union, Impongsoted as special guest at Indoor Badminton Stadium, Tuensang.

Altogether, 49 departments participated in Table Tennis, Carrom and Badminton events. DEF Tuensang emerged as the overall winner of the inter-departmental sports meet. 

The winner of Men's single badminton was Dr. Joshua Keppen DH and in women’s single category was Akokla of district jail. In men's double badminton, the winners were Dolen & Imti of DEF and for mixed double Y Tomukam & S Alila of Sao Chang Government College.

The winner of Table Tennis Men's single was wati Akum, DEF and Women's Single Songmo Lam, CMO bagged winner and the winner of mixed double Rozikyu Sangtam & Chily Sangtam of District Administration won the first position.

In the carrom competition Akumlong of NST was the champion while Dr. Temjen sunep and Thangginlen selmen of district hospital won the men's double match.
