1st ROUND OF TRAINING FOR POLLING OFFICERS CONCLUDES AT PEREN

The second day of the first round of training for 2nd & 3rd Polling Officers (for the forthcoming 18th Lok Sabha Election, 2024 was held at three different venues in Peren Town, namely Town Hall, PTWWO Hall and Old Catholic Church building on 27th March 2024.

In the training, resource persons briefed the participants about their roles and responsibilities as per the guidelines of the ECI. Further, the trainees were taught on setting up of polling stations, the functioning and rational use of EVMs, VVPATs, filling up of Election Duty Certificate (EDC) etc.

In addition, hands-on training was also given to the trainees to get familiarise with EVMs. The training session saw the participation of more than 500 trainees.
