WORLD ENVIRONMENT DAY CELEBRATED AT NOKLAK

‘F’ Company 3rd NAP BN, Noklak observed World Environment Day in collaboration with District Administration Noklak & Department of Environment, Forest   & Climatic Changes on 5th June 2024 at Noklak under the theme, ‘Land Restoration, Desertification and Drought Resilience’.

In his speech DC Noklak, Arikumba stated that the focus of celebrating World Environment Day is to protect the environment and sustainable life in the future. While elaborating on how to keep the environment clean, the DC emphasized on the uses of plastic and its effect on the environment.

Further, DC requests the gathering to spread awareness on the importance of planting trees and to start the habit of planting trees.

Asst. Commanding ‘F’ Company 3rd NAP, Noklak, Tianungba Ao and Forest Range Officer Noklak Range, Imtimar Walling also spoke during the occasion.

To mark the occasion, plantation drive was held at 3rd NAP Camp, Noklak led by the Deputy Commissioner, Noklak.
