NLA PAYS TRIBUTE TO YOLLOW KONYAK  

The 14th Nagaland Legislative Assembly paid tribute to former MLA and Minister, Y.M. Yollow Konyak who passed away on 22nd March 2023. Delivering the obituary reference at NLA Secretariat, Kohima on 23rd March 2023, Speaker, NLA, Sharingain Longkumer called Y.M. Yollow Konyak a dedicated leader who worked tirelessly for the welfare of the people and that his passing will be an irreplaceable loss. He added that the valuable contributions Konyak rendered as a politician and social worker for the cause of the people will always be cherished. The members also observed a minute of silence for the departed soul. 

Secretary-in-Charge, NLA, Khruohituonuo Rio also reported the assent of the Governor of Nagaland to The Nagaland Groundwater (Regulation and Control of Development and Management) Bill, 2020 and The Nagaland Fiscal Responsibility and Budget Management (5th Amendment) Bill, 2022.
