PRE-SUBROTO FOOTBALL TOURNAMENT 2024 KICKOFF AT KOHIMA  

The Inaugural program of the Pre- Subroto Football Tournament 2024 was held at Indra Gandhi Stadium on 5th June 2024 at Kohima.

In his inaugural speech MLA & General Secretary Nagaland Football Association (NFA) Benei M. Lamthiu said the Department of Youth Resources & Sports and Nagaland Football Association has taken a good step by organising the state level Pre-Subroto cum Junior Football Tournament which will give a good platform and a big boost to the young football players.

Benei encouraged the players to take sports not only as am hobbies but as a future career. He informed that the Department of Youth Resource in collaboration with the Nagaland Football Association will be organising the state Football League Tournament to identify the young talents. More efforts will be put in to develop the standard of football in the state.

The Pre-Subroto cum Junior Football Tournament 2024 is set to take place from 5th June  to 12th June 2024 at IG stadium, Kohima and will feature 13 district competing in the U-15 boys and U-17 girls category with a total of 468 players and officials from all over the  state.
