CULTURAL PROGRAMME HELD AT PHEK

Speaking at a cultural programme called "Igniting Cultural Tradition" organized by the Department of Art and Culture at Town Hall Phek on 27th September 2022, N. Joshua Tikhir EAC Phek spoke about the material and non-material culture. He lamented that younger generations don't know traditional cultures. He advocated that instead of western culture one should focus more on one's own culture and preserve the traditions.

District Cultural Officer Zhosa Sapu, in his welcome address, said the event was held to influence the younger generation with our rich cultures.

Presentations of various kinds of cultural performances were the highlights of the cultural programme.

Assistant Research Officer, Cultural Office Phek, Chirola Pochury compered the program, where Pastor Angami Baptist Church Phek, Thepfuneizo Yhor said the invocation prayer.
