YONGSHA MORUNG AT TANGHA VILLAGE, LONGLENG INAUGURATED  

A newly constructed Yongsha Morung at Tangha village under Longleng district was inaugurated on 2nd December 2021, with C. Manlang Angto, ENPO General Secretary as special guest. B. Hamphe, Pastor Tangha Village Baptist Church offered the dedicatory prayer.

Addressing the gathering C. Manlang Angto urged the people to preserve our cultural and traditional values by re-introducing morung education system for the younger generation, and the morung should not just be a traditional structure to play log-drum during festivals.

Yongsha Hau Wangshong, Hensha TVC Yongnyei and oldest man of the Morung, and Wanmon DB spoke at the program.
